LW Dance

LW Dance is all about community, good vibes and great dance and fitness classes. If you are looking to get fit in a fun and judgement free environment then LWD classes are for you! All abilities and sizes are welcome, you are guaranteed to have a great workout and leave on a high! All classes can be booked through the website www.lwdance.co.uk

 

Classes are on Wednesday evenings (please note there is no classes on every second Wednesday of the month), they cost £6 per class and are 45 minutes. All of LWD’s classes have been Covid Risk Assessment and are safe. If you have questions, please get in touch with Louise Wright [email protected]

 

Zumba 6.30pm

 

Zumba is an exercise fitness programme created by Colombian dancer and choreographer Alberto Beto. Grooving to the beats of salsa, flamenco, merengue and dance music feels more like a dance party that a workout, which is exactly what makes Zumba so popular.

 

Zumba takes the ‘work’ out of workout, by mixing low intensity and high intensity moves for an interval style, calorie burning fitness party. Once the Latin and world rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise.

 

The benefits of Zumba include a total workout combining all elements of fitness, cardio, muscle toning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class.

 

Club Fit Mix 7.30pm

 

CFM is a high intensity dance fitness class, where upbeat clubbing tunes meet a high energy HIIT dance workout! It will get your heart pumping, give you a full body workout and leave you feeling euphoric, aka sweaty mess! The music will motivate you to push yourself and work hard and guaranteed you will leave the class on a high.

 

The class consists of a warm up, followed by a number of pulse raising tracks getting you ready for a serious focus on those legs, upper body and core, ending with pure cardio tracks and a cool down and stretch....and breathe!

 

All the tracks progress in speed, building to the serious heart pumping tracks towards the end. You will enjoy exercising to club classics and current chart bangers. As with all our LWD class there are options to reduce intensity or take the demonstrated modifications....so no excuses!
