The Dance Factory

'The Dance Factory encourages children to express themselves through dance, gaining confidence and improving social skills. Boys and girls from the age of two and a half are given opportunities to take part in the disciplined techniques of RAD Ballet and ISTD Modern and Tap as well as Commercial Jazz , Musical Theatre and Contemporary. 

As pupils improve they are given the chance to progress through exams and some children are given the opportunity of taking part in the All England Dance Festivals. 

Students who come to classes just for exercise and fun are very welcome and can move up grades with their friends without any pressure of exams.  We pride ourselves on being a very friendly and caring dance school. 

All classes are taught by qualified teachers (all DBS approved) with most also coming from a professional dancing background; for more information please see our ‘Teachers’ page. No lessons are taught by students as we believe in providing the highest standard of teaching for you and your children. 

Adult classes are also provided in Ballet & Contemporary – many parents being just as keen as their children to take part! 

The Dance Factory lessons are taught in many different locations: the fantastic hall at The Centre in Mawsley, The NEW Dance Factory Studio in Kettering,  the dance studio at Kettering Science Academy and Bishop Stopford School and in the hall at Ise community centre.
